Album cover development

Istarted off by drawing out a few potential album layouts, and took them onto illustrator.

Next i looked at adding in background images.

I carried on experimenting with a wide range to layouts.

I found that i liked the idea of having my logo and type placed in the centre of the cover, and started creating the design on photoshop. After playing around the

These are my final design.

Band logo

I started off by looking at a range of typefaces to represents the bands name.

I played around with the A in the name.

Next i really wanted to have a triangular symbol to represent the band so i played around with the shape.

I found this to be my favourite symbol however i wanted to symbolise the W more, so i developed the symbol further until i created this shape.

This was my idea behind the design.

I continued my development; adding in my band name and making refinements.

After making a list of potential names for my record label. I liked the name platinum records because of its premium sounding name.

I started off by drawing out a few thumbnails of potential design i had for the logo.

Next i took my thumbnails onto illustrator and drew them out.

I took my three favourite designs and developed them; adding in more detail and making refinements.

I liked my second design the best as it relates to the idea of platinum records with the record imagery. I then developed this idea further.
